Since 2007 Rimba Sentosa has developed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program to empower local economic and preserve the forest. It is reflected on the commitment to plant prime seeds of teak, and involve local cooperatives and villagers. The target is to have grown a few hundred thousand trees by 2009. We have provided seeds, organic fertilizers, and instructors. Other efforts include improving community empowerment and facilitating the certification process for community forests.

These activities yield positive results in improving the social livelihood, saving forests, as well as securing a sustainable teak supply for wood-based industries in the future.
